Kitchenbuilders came about from a simple idea a long time ago when I was trying to get a new kitchen installed.

The DIY warehouse where we had bought the cabinets refused (understandably) to give a recommendation for any installers or tradesmen, though the designer would give a list of names for me to talk to.

That is fair enough but we do not update our kitchens that often and so finding someone, who knows someone who has had a kitchen installed recently is always difficult. Also knowing where to look to find those people was hard to fathom. I found so many good tradesmen in the months after I had had my kitchen fitted that I became quite irritated.

Kitchenbuilders aims to solve that problem by providing a directory for people who produce, design, plumb, decorate, build, fit and install kitchens. So that consumers who want their kitchens designed, plumbed, decorated, revamped, built, fitted or installed can get a list of local or near local suppliers to choose from. Simple as that!
